Mudurnu
Mudurnu is a district of Bolu. Mudurnu District, which is 52 km away from the city center, has an important feature in terms of old Turkish houses. In the district dominated by greenery, 165 residences and a total of 173 buildings with high architectural value, including 8 mosques, fountains and baths, were declared an "Urban Protected Area". Armutçular Mansion and Keyvanlar Mansion are one of the most beautiful examples of Turkish civil architecture. It is also possible to rent rooms from the mansions where local home cooking is introduced. Abant Lake, Sülük Lake, Karamurat Lake, Şeyh-ül Ümran Hill (the Sheikh-ül Imran feast is held in the first week of July) within the boundaries of the district are worth seeing. In Mudurnu, where livestock is the main source of income, needlework made by women is also an important source of income. In addition, Mudurnu, which is the production center of Mudurnu Palace Halva, which we know as regret, has made its name with many names in Turkey and in the world. In the blacksmiths' bazaar, it is possible to find a few tradesmen who carry the handicrafts of ancient times to the present.
