Dede Korkut Vault in Masat Village, which is about 39 kilometers away from the city center of Bayburt, is one of the most visited spots in the city.
It is thought that the tomb, which is popularly known as Ali Baba Vault, belongs to Dede Korkut. When the architecture of the cupola is examined, it is understood that it is a very old structure. So much so that it is dated to the 9th century. However, after the repair in 1994, it moved away from its originality. The cupola is among the structures that stimulate tourism in the city.
