Historical Safranbolu Houses
All houses face more centrally located public buildings, religious buildings and monuments. Whichever house you look at, the view is unobstructed. The close-up facades of the houses are blind, the far-plan facades are open and in a position to follow each other.
The roads and streets in the middle of the city are completely covered with stones. The courtyards and squares of the monuments are also covered with stones. The existing flooring style minimizes moisture, is resistant to flood waters and is suitable for tree roots to receive sufficient water.
