Sultan Bayezid II Complex

It was built by the Amasya Sanjak Bey, Şehzade Ahmed, by order of Bayezid. As stated in the current endowment dated 1496, the units of the kulliye; It consists of a mosque, a madrasa, a soup kitchen, a school and a bridge. The bridge, which is mentioned as a unit of the complex, is located on the Kızılırmak in the Osmancık District of Çorum. There is a mosque, madrasah and soup kitchen, which are among the units of the complex, and the school, which is stated to be in the east of the complex, has not survived. In addition, the Şehzade Osman Çelebi Tomb and Muvakkithane were added to the complex later. In a document in the archive of the Topkapı Palace Museum, which gives information about the units of the complex, it is explained that the building known as the imaret consists of five separate units: the mut'ime-hane, the matbah, the cellar, the oven and the barn.
