Miniature Amasya Museum
Miniature Amasya Museum is a model of the historical city inspired by a photograph taken in 1914. It is located in an area of 80 m² in a hall of the soup kitchen building of the Sultan Beyazıt Complex. Its construction started in 2008 by the Special Provincial Administration of the Governorship of Amasya and was put into service on May 14, 2010.
It presents a nostalgic look that reflects the urban texture and cultural structure of those years. The whole Amasya, where you will experience the night with 2300 star simulations and city illuminations, while watching the day with its mountains, the flowing Green River and its train, the figures in motion at certain points, as well as the place and architectural structures that make it privileged, have been tried to be animated. Visitors visiting this place can listen to both Turkish and English presentations and experience the texture of the city accompanied by taksims.
