Restaurant story:

BEYTİ Restaurant resembles an impressive monument with its traditional Ottoman Turkish architecture and decorations. Beyti Restaurant Building consists of 3 floors, 10 halls, 3 balconies and 5 kitchens.

The Betty family emigrated from Samarkand to the Crimea in the eighteenth century, Romania, which became a subsidiary of the Ottoman lands in the seventies of the nineteenth century, and then to Istanbul. His father (Abdulmutallab Guler) was a baker. After the war, the family established a small soup kitchen in the Kucukcekmece district. They used to make meatballs and dry bean gravy only. Then meatballs became popular in the region and their fame increased in the 1950's as they began serving American Airlines planes. Important personalities visited their restaurants from Turkey and the world, such as Suleiman Demirel, Turgut Ozal, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and King Abdullah of Jordan.

Then the family moved to Florya in 1983 and it remains in the same place to this day. The restaurant was famous for its meat and steak dishes, and the food was known by its name: kebab skewers with onion mixture and spices with salsa, Turkish lavash bread and grilled vegetables.
